Who are the Malhotras? Amazon Prime Video is all set to present a fun Amazon Original titled Mind The Malhotras. The show is based on the Israeli comedy called La Famiglia. Mini Mathur and Cyrus Sahukar come together to tickle those funny bones and tell you the tale of a family who gives us many reasons to laugh, and bigger reasons to end up in therapy.

The trailer of the original has launched today and it has introduced us to the lead characters Rish and Shef played by Cyrus Sahukar and Mini Mathur. Married for a few years now, the Malhotras are parents to three junior Malhotras.

Their routine involved sitting and mindlessly watching the television, avoiding the in-laws over the weekends and taking care of the kids. The spark in their relationship is gone, the couple has no filters between each other and they don’t seem to care about it until one day their friends file for divorce.

Scenes from the trailer reveal that the show has the right element of masala, a hint of Bollywood and a whole spoon of laughter to make it a perfect concoction. Rishabh uses the age-old idea of flowers mating on the big screen to talk about sex education with his daughter. It is definitely relatable as we’ve often experienced the awkwardness with our own parents on this subject.
