The ace music composer and singer, the Oscar winner A R Rahman celebrates his birthday yesterday and is all set to perform his iconic song 'Urvashi' entirely in Tamil - on Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged season six slated to happen on January 14. So, he has recreated the song "Urvashi Urvashi" with crowd-sourced lyrics.

Rahman said, "The most beautiful thing about art is that it belongs to everyone and crowd sourcing is a great way to get newer audiences to connect." 

"It was a fabulous experience and what we've got is some interesting stuff filled with references to current events which is just as vibrant as the original one," he added.

"Urvashi Urvashi" is a popular track from Tamil film "Kadhalan" released in 1994.
