No place to store dead bodies in hospital: The head of the fire department has said that 74 bodies have been taken to the hospital while 46 bodies are still kept on the streets. He told that they are being kept in a nearby gym so that they can also be identified.

How the accident happened: Officials have said that it is believed that a crowd of people going towards the Hamilton Hotel, the main party spot in Seoul, entered a narrow street and during this time the situation worsened due to the increase in the crowd and people were crushed in the crowd. There have been many casualties. 

CPR being given to people on the streets: Police officials said that dozens of people are also being given CPR on the streets of Itaewon while many others have been taken to nearby hospitals. South Korean President Eun Suk Yeol issued a statement calling on officials to ensure prompt treatment for the wounded and review the security of the festival sites.
