New Delhi: News of a bomb in the Gazipur area of the country's capital Delhi ahead of Republic Day has created a sensation. An unclaimed bag has been recovered near Ghazipur Mandi, which is suspected to contain a bomb. The Special Cell of Delhi Police and local police have rushed to the spot after receiving information about the unclaimed bag.

A team of the bomb disposal squad and NSG has also reached the spot as soon as they received the information. The entire area is being searched. Delhi Police has informed that a bomb was reported near Ghazipur Phool Mandi on a PCR call at 10.50 am, after which the bomb disposal squad was informed as a precautionary measure and all SOP are being followed.

At present, the entire area is being investigated and a team of NSG and bomb disposal team has dug a pit here, the pit has been dug with the help of JCB machine. Sources have informed that suspicious objects will be placed in the pit.
