Bangalore: In the recently held assembly elections in Karnataka, Congress has won with absolute majority. Many people are telling it the result of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, while some people say that it is the result of the hard work of the party workers. But now it has come to know that a team of journalists was also working day and night in Karnataka to create an atmosphere in favor of the Congress. The team was attached to Karnataka Congress unit president DK Shivakumar, and was campaigning for the Congress through news.

This disclosure has been made by Karnataka's deputy CM Shivakumar himself. This confession of his has raised questions on the collusion of the Congress and the media gang. In fact, while talking to India Today journalist Nabeela Jameel on 16 May 2023, Shivkumar has told about some journalists working for themselves in the elections. This conversation can be heard in the video from 4 minutes 16 seconds. Shivakumar claims that he single-handedly ensured the victory of the Congress in Karnataka. There were 3 teams working for him in Karnataka assembly election which was different from AICC (All India Congress Committee). Meanwhile, Shivakumar tells that one of these teams was of journalists. One of his political supporters and his 10 year old system was also active. However, what is this 10 year old system, its information has not been found. But, by referring to the journalists, Shivakumar has accepted the point of Congress-backed media.

Speaking in this manner, DK Shivakumar exposed that, at his 'grace', many journalists were engaged in a mission to change people's perception about the Congress. Although who are these journalists, their names or the names of the channels have not been disclosed by Shivakumar. But, despite doing so much for the party, Shivakumar has failed to become the CM of Karnataka. Siddaramaiah is going to take oath as the chief minister on May 20. Shivakumar will be the deputy CM.
