A tribal building should be constructed in Hyderabad for the self-respect of tribals: KCR

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday paid tributes to the most revered tribal leader Komaram Bheem on his birth anniversary and remembered his services. He said that the state government was committed to fulfill the ideals of Komaram Bheem who fought for the rights of tribals.

He said that the state government is implementing several schemes and programs for the welfare and development of the tribals and the birth anniversary of Komaram Bheem is officially celebrated. He said that Jodeghat, the place where Komaram Bhima fought, has been developed. Komaram Bheem memorial, Smriti Vanam and a museum have been constructed at Joraghat.

The Chief Minister said that to uphold the self-respect of the tribals, a tribal building is being constructed in the middle of Hyderabad and it is ready for inauguration. Chandrashekhar Rao said that Komaram Bheem's slogan 'Jal Jungle Zameen' was an integral part of the development path under separate Telangana state and self-governing state. Describing the special love of the tribals for forests and nature, he said that everyone should take inspiration from them in this regard.
