New Delhi: A high-speed truck trampled four people sleeping on the pavement late Wednesday night at the Modi Mill flyover at Okhla Phase Three in the country's capital, New Delhi. In this catastrophic accident, 55-year-old Lalan died tragically, while the elderly couple and a teenager were badly injured. He has been admitted to AIIMS for treatment.
At the same time, the police is currently looking for the accused driver based on the truck number. Lalan Modi, who was killed in this accident, lived in a slum under the mill flyover. The injured have been identified as Addi, his wife Banffati and 13 years of development. All these people live in slums on the pavement.
On Wednesday late night at 1:20 pm, it was reported that a speeding truck on the Modi Mill flyover has trampled 3 people sleeping on the pavement. The police took the injured to AIIMS, where doctors declared one dead. A car was also in an accident in the back of the truck. The owner identified the car as Gulati. He had hit the truck from behind in the dark. However, he was not injured in the accident.
