New Delhi: The nation's capital Delhi will have to face a temperature of 32 degrees eight months instead of six months every year. A report by the World Economic Forum has stated that due to global warming, this change can be seen from the year 2100. According to the Earth Time Visualization report, there may be a prolonged heat outbreak across South Asia, including India. Similar situations will happen in America.
According to the report, with the decline in petrol and diesel consumption, such catastrophic results can only be avoided through the reduction of carbon emissions. For this, governments, business world and civic groups will have to work together. The report said that the incidence of wildfires and storms in the US will increase drastically. The global organization has said that the situation can be changed by changing the currently released methods of industrialization, reducing the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and through large scale plantations. Existing modes of transport and energy consumption will also have to be changed.
According to the report, at the end of the century, temperatures in many parts of the world will average 38 degrees between July and August. In the US, Arizona, the Phoenix area will also have temperatures up to 32 degrees 200 days a year. Whereas in Europe with cold regions, the temperature will be up to 30 degrees.
