New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kapil Mishra has filed a complaint with the Delhi Police's Special Cell regarding the Delhi riots. In his complaint, he said that some people want to implicate me in riots and are spreading hatred against me and my family. The BJP leader has tweeted that, "Today I have registered a police complaint, running a hate campaign against me, making false news and complaints in the media, protecting real rioters and terrorists and slamming me and my family. But not taking action against those who pose a threat. ''
After registering the complaint, the BJP leader said that the Special Cell had not called me. Today I have come here to lodge a complaint with the DCP cell, who are running a hate campaign against me even after the actual criminals are caught. They want to target me, attack me by running a hate campaign.
BJP leaders- Kapil Mishra, Anurag Thakur, Pravesh Verma are accused of spreading hate speech in support of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), after which Hindu-Muslim riots broke out in Delhi. However, Kapil Mishra has rejected the talk of making hate speeches and distanced himself from the violence in north-east Delhi.
