Lucknow: SP National President and former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav has said that the BJP government, which spent billions of promotional funds by installing millions of LED televisions for election rally but do they have funds for online education for students? The BJP government should honestly make the Prime Minister's Fund a public fund and worry about the future of the country.

Akhilesh Yadav has said that opening of schools and colleges is not a safe option amidst the ongoing pandemic. In such a situation, the government should provide a smartphone, network and electricity to the students of the poor families, as well as provide free hardware to the teachers for digital teaching at home.

He also said that in the education world these days, one of the problems faced by the parents is to pay the fees of the schools and colleges. Parents have to make 80 per cent effort in online learning. Accordingly, the school fees should not be more than 25 per cent, but school colleges still want to charge the full fee. Most education institute managers are working as business institutions. The fees for online studies may not be the same as the fees for campus studies. The BJP government should issue guidelines in this regard. Akhilesh Yadav has expressed his opinion.
