Beijing: A report by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute of atrocities on 8 million Muslims in China's Uygar Muslim-majority Xinjiang province has been revealed. China has built more than 380 detention camps to imprison these Uygar Muslims. Pictures from the satellite reveal that these detention centres have been constructed in the last two years.
The Chinese government is building these centres at a time when it is being claimed that the work of re-educating Uygar Muslims in China is near completion. According to the Australian report, these detention centres are built in the western regions of China. Uygars and other Muslim minorities are imprisoned in this. Construction of 14 detention camps is still going on. In this report, quoting satellite photographs, it has been said that China has established 380 detention camps since 2017. Stringent security arrangements have been made by China inside these centres.
Institute researcher Nathan Ruser says that China has imprisoned around eight million Muslims in these camps. Based on the evidence from these images, it has been learned that China has invested heavily in building a new detention camp. This investment is contrary to the claims of the Chinese authorities in which they denied it.
