New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday accused each other of demolishing a temple in Delhi's Chandni Chowk. After which the administration has deployed a huge police force on the spot. Although the situation on the spot is normal. On this dispute, BJP has said that its leaders will soon meet the Lieutenant Governor, seeking its reconstruction.
State BJP president Adesh Gupta, in a press conference held in the state, has accused the AAP government of the demolition of Hanuman temple, saying that a party delegation will meet the Lt. Governor and ask them to intervene in the matter. At the same time, giving information, a senior police officer has told that according to the court order by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MSD), this structure has been removed on Sunday.
He has said that the situation at the place concerned is peaceful, but as a precaution, security personnel has been deployed to maintain law and order. AAP leaders have blamed the BJP for the demolition of this temple. Senior AAP leader Durgesh Pathak has claimed that the BJP-ruled North Delhi Municipal Corporation has done the work of demolishing the temple.
