New Delhi: A video of Jail Minister Satyendar Jain, who is lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail, has surfaced, in which he is seen getting a massage. The BJP has opened a front against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said the Kejriwal government in Delhi has violated jail rules and instead of the sentence, Satyendar Jain is being given full 'VVIP fun'. Now there has been a reaction from AAP too.

Till now, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) was submitting CCTV footage of Jain to the court, so the AAP was not paying attention to it nor was there any reply being given. But, as soon as the video of The Jail Minister's (Satyendar Jain) enjoyment in Delhi jail became public, the AAP got involved in damage control. In the CCTV footage of Tihar Jail, Satyendar Jain is seen lying on the bed and looking at some documents. During this time, a person is massaging Jain's leg. AAP leader Jain is getting his massage done by placing his feet on top of him. After this video surfaced, the BJP attacked the Kejriwal government. Sharing this video, the BJP MP has said that ''Arvind Kejriwal's hawala jail minister enjoying massage in jail. Will the evidence be enough now? Did the thug Sukesh be extorted for this?"
At the same time, seeing itself surrounded now, AAP has also reacted to it. AAP has said that Satyendar Jain is given acupuncture therapy in jail. Due to physical complications, the court had ordered all kinds of treatment in the jail. Due to lack of oxygen, Satyendar Jain also sleeps with bipaps several times at night. Along with medicines, acupuncture therapy is also a part of his treatment. Since Jain's health deteriorates in jail, orders were given to provide him treatment.
The ED, which arrested Jain, had said that Satyendar Jain is taking advantage of all the facilities in connivance with the jail authorities while in Tihar Jail. After this, the Ministry of Home Affairs had sought a report from the Chief Secretary of the Delhi government in this matter. The ED had said in its complaint to the court that Satyendar Jain, despite being the jail minister, was violating jail rules. Not only this, the ED had also submitted all the CCTV footage of Satyendar Jain's luxury to the court. The ED had said in its complaint that AAP leader Jain is being given several facilities like head massage, foot massage, and back massage in Tihar Jail.
After this, on November 14, 58 jail staff of jail number 7 were transferred, including 4 senior officers. Of these, all warders including 2 deputy jailors, 3 assistant jailers, and 7 head warders were transferred. Apart from this, the Jail Superintendent of Jail Number 7 Ajit Kumar has already been suspended. Ashok Rawat, superintendent of jail number 5, was given the additional responsibility of this jail. At the same time, if AAP's statement is considered, AAP has said that the court has allowed Jain to undergo all kinds of treatment. If AAP is right, then has the jail superintendent been suspended as a punishment for not obeying the court order?
