New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh has claimed to have conducted a survey. Sanjay Singh has said that "I had conducted a survey. The survey asked whether the Yogi Adityanath Government of Uttar Pradesh is a supporter of casteism and Thakurism? In which 63 per cent of the people said that the Yogi government was racist and 29 per cent said that it was not".

After a sedition case filed against the survey, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that "In 39 districts, 46 people of the same caste, specially people of Thakur caste are appointed as top officials. Is it not casteism? Did the state government not get officials from other castes to deploy to the top posts? Is this the BJP's Ram Rajya? Is this Yogi Raj?"  Sanjay Singh further said that "I'll not allow 24 crore people of the state to be tortured ot treated unfairly.

He said that "Because of power, casteism and thakurism will not be allowed. Yogi Ji, you work for thakurs, but don't neglect other castes. Don't have an unjust attitude towards them. Take care of 24 crore people of the state. I am not afraid of the Yogi Government's notice, trial and arrest and hiding in the house," said Sanjay Singh, Uttar Pradesh in-charge of AAP. "No matter how many cases you file against me, we will continue to raise our voice. Because I stand by my survey and statement".
