New Delhi: Raghav Chadha, a Rajya Sabha member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has always been in the news for his statements. Now recently, he has written a letter to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh amidst the ongoing controversy and protests over the Agneepath scheme. In fact, Raghav Chadha has sought withdrawal of the scheme by listing five loopholes. Let us tell you that Raghav Chadha says, "The government should stop such a trial-by-fire on the youth of the country. Such a crash course will adversely affect the capability and quality of the army.'' Apart from this, Raghav Chadha in his statement has also said that "This kind of recruitment process will not calm the mind of the Agniveers, which is very important for the service of the country.''

At the same time, he advised the government that some pilot projects should be run before implementing this scheme and then it should be implemented after seeing their results. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has already appealed to the central government to withdraw it.''
