New Delhi, July 19: BJP-led NDA government will first-time face no-confidence motion in Lok Sabha as the Speaker, Sumitra Mahajan nodded to TDP's demand for the motion on Wednesday, the first day of the Monsoon Session of the Parliament.

Just one day before the discussion and voting on the matter, Member of Parliament(MP) from TDP met Delhi Chief Minister and AAP party leader Arvind Kejriwal to seek support against the central government in order to get special status for Andhra Pradesh.

Y.S.Chowdary with K.Narayana, Malyadri Sriram, Nimmala Kristappa and T.G.Venkatesh reached to Delhi CM’s house and handed him the letter and booklet that have a message from TDP President and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N.Chandrababu Naidu.

Chowdary on the matter said: “In the Constitution of India, it is very clearly written that the political parties may be different from each state. They (Centre) have totally ignored each and everything and they are not allowing states to function independently. That's the matter which has to be discussed tomorrow,”

AAP leader, Sanjay Singh while supporting TDP motion said: “The Centre is being ruled by BJP's dictatorship. It's a Hitler-like government (Hitlershahi ki sarkar hai). It has become a threat to structural federalism. The power of states is being continuously taken away. This government assured Andhra Pradesh to give them Special Status. However, they have betrayed them. They have backed out of their support,”

While answering that why TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy denied to participate in the no-confidence motion Chowdary replied: “That's an internal matter. It is being sorted out.”
