CHENNAI: Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of the nation's capital, claimed on Thursday that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would create a government in Karnataka, just as it did in Delhi and Punjab.

"When we requested anti-corruption legislation, we, the common people, were challenged to enter politics. We decided to start a political party. Our first government was set up in Delhi, followed by one in Punjab. In Karnataka, we will now establish our next government "While speaking at a farmers' rally organised by several farmers' bodies, led by the Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha, the AAP chief remarked (KRRS).

Kodihalli Chandrashekar, the KRRS convenor, joined the AAP and urged KRRS members to give the party their complete support.

In response to allegations of corruption in Karnataka, Kejriwal stated the previous Congress government was known as the "20 percent commission government," whereas the present BJP government is known as the "40 percent commission government." Kejriwal referred a civil contractor who committed suicide after accusing Karnataka Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister K S Eshwarappa of charging a 40% fee in a claimed suicide note.

"Because Delhi has a hardcore honest government, it has a government with no commission. Bribes are not accepted in the amount of a paise " Kejriwal said

The CBI, the Income Tax Department, and the Delhi Police conducted searches on him, his deputy Manish Sisodia, and 17 MLAs, but the agencies were unable to find anything substantial to frame them,  Kejriwal said.
