In a new twist in the Arunachal Pradesh abduction case, the Arunachal teen who was kidnapped by China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) on January 18 was reunited with his family on Monday.

On Tuesday, February 1st, the official said that the teen had been reunited with his family. According to the official, the Indian Army assisted in the reunion of Miram Taron, a young Arunachal kid, with his parents and family members. Miran Taron visited his parents on Monday, January 31st, during a ceremony in the Tuting region of Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district. After more than a week, he was reunited with his family.

The area's panchayat leaders and local administration took the effort to greet the youngster with warm greetings when he arrived in his village. Meanwhile, the teen boy's father, Opang Taron, alleged that his son became mentally disturbed as a result of the torture he endured throughout the incident. The Chinese Army allegedly bound and blindfolded his son during his one-week detention, according to Opang.

He also alleged that Miram was kicked in the back and given electric shocks in the early days. During his detention, the PLA troops kept him blindfolded for the majority of the time, and his wrists were tied for the entire time except for eating.

The Chinese troops could only untie him under specific circumstances when it was absolutely necessary, according to Opang. He also claimed that he was not permitted to eat since he was only given a small amount of food. Miram is still suffering from mental shock as a result of what happened in Chinese custody, according to her father.

Miram was allegedly taken by the PLA of China on January 18 while out hunting with his friend Johny Yaying along the Line of Actual Control. On that specific day, Johny was able to flee the scene and describe the entire incident to the concerned authorities.
