According to the news, Abhinav has alleged that the makers of the show expelled him from the show without telling him and did not even pay. Abhinav played the role of Drishti Dhami's husband Rajdeep in this show, which people did not like. According to the reports, Abhinav has filed a criminal case against the makers after coming out of the show and in this case he has accused the makers of cheating and extortion.

In the complaint, according to the news, Abhinav has said that the makers are not paying about two months. According to this complaint, Abhinav was not paid for the October-November 2018. He says that even after a lot of talk, Abhinav resorted to the law when the makers did not agree. Abhinav's counsel in the case said- "They also approached the Channel and the Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA). Both sides also met but Abhinav resorted to the law after no solution was found."

'Silsila Badal Rishte Ka' managed to make it to the TRP last year but as soon as the vision was removed from the show, the show came down and the show was called off. The show featured Shakti Arora as Kunal, Aditi Sharma playing Mouli and Drishti Dhami as Nandini.
