Politics heats up on Auraiya road accident, other parties surround Yogi government

On Saturday, politics has intensified in the case of the death of 24 migrant workers in a road accident in Auraiya. The opposition is calling the case a murder, even after CM Yogi Adityanath's suspension of two policemen and ordered an inquiry against the top officials.

In this case, the Bahujan Samaj Party and the Congress have strongly attacked the Yogi Adityanath government along with the Samajwadi Party. While Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has called it a mass murder, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has demanded stern action. Akhilesh Yadav has announced a grant of one lakh rupees to the dependents of the deceased on behalf of the Samajwadi Party and has demanded the government to give ten lakh rupees.

Former National President of Congress Rahul Gandhi has also described this incident as quite terrible. Rahul Gandhi has also regretted this incident. Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that the dead bodies of all the dead in Auraiya road accident should be conveyed respectfully to their family members. All the injured should get proper treatment.
