An accused jailed in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, has been found corona positive. He is accused of throwing stones and misbehaving at policemen in Chandan Nagar, Indore. The report from the ICMR lab on Saturday morning confirmed the accused to be positive. Accused Javed Khan has been quarantined in the hospital ward within the jail itself. It is also told that the accused who attacked the police team in Indore were brought to Jabalpur, since then the health of one was bad, but all were admitted to the hospital. After this, their samples were taken. The report of one of them came positive. Now the remaining three came negative, which were shifted to jail. The policemen who went to Jabalpur with the accused have been asked for quarantine. On the other hand, now 10 coronas have been infected in Jabalpur. Five of these patients have gone home after recovering.

According to the Indore police, on the evening of April 7, some people were sitting in a white magic van in Chandan Nagar police station area. They were prohibited from violating the lockdown by constable Surendra Ahake and other policemen posted at police station Chandan Nagar. Instead of obeying the policemen, the accused attacked them. The accused misbehaved with the policeman and threw stones.

They later vandalized the police vehicle. In the case, the police took action under Rasuka on 4 accused and sent to Jabalpur jail. The accused on whom Rasuka has been tried include accused Salim alias Sallu father Lallu Khan (50), Javed father Nasir Khan (30), Imran father Bhuru Khan (24) and Sameer father Anwar Khan (22) from Chandan Nagar.
