Recently, a new case of crime is reported from Karimuddinpur police station area of Ghazipur where a woman has accused six people of throwing acid on her. The woman has filed a complaint to the police on Tuesday evening for throwing acid. According to the information received, the police sent the victim to the health center for medical checkup after seeing the acid-burnt place and the police have registered the FIR and arrested the accused.

A woman from Karimuddinpur police station area reached the police station late Tuesday and complained to the police. In this complaint she alleged that, 'I was going to Karimuddinpur market to buy goods. Meanwhile, as soon as I reached near the village Pokhare at around 4:30 in the evening, the residents of Sheramath village sitting in ambush, Bhola Yadav, Vinay Yadav, Hari Yadav, Rama Yadav, Nagina Yadav and Rani Kanaujia, with the intention of killing them I threw acid on me, causing my right shoulder to burn. '

In this case, Inspector-in-charge Asheshnath Singh said that complaint of the woman has been filed against the accused. Medical check-up of the woman was conducted at the health center, Barachawar. All the accused were arrested. With this, they were challaned and sent to jail in the respective sections. In this case, the inspector in-charge also further stated that, "The woman has not mentioned in the complaint or verbally about the reasons for which the incident happened to her." Still the case is being investigated. The treating doctor said that the acid used to clean the toilet has been thrown on the woman's body.
