The number of COVID-19 cases in the world has crossed 30 million, while so far a total of 9.45 lakh persons have lost their lives in this pandemic. The report, obtained in the meantime, states that a group of rich countries, representing 13 per cent of the world's population, have booked more than 50 per cent doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

The report analyzes the deals between the five vaccine producing companies and the buyer countries undergoing the last round of investigation based on data collected by analytics company Airfinity. After the report, Oxfam America officer Rort Silverman said, "The access to life-saving vaccines should not depend on where you live or how much money you have."

He also said that the development and approval of a safe and effective vaccine are important but equally important is to ensure that vaccines are available to all. He also stated the need for vaccines to be cheap as the epidemic spread not in any one place but everywhere in the world. The five vaccines analyzed include AstraZeneca, Gamalaya / Sputnik, Modern, Pfizer and Synovac vaccines.

According to the report, the rich countries that have made the vaccine maker deal with five companies include the US, UK, European Union, Australia, Hong Kong-Macau, Japan, Switzerland and Israel. The cases of corona in the world are constantly increasing.
