Pushpa maintained the trend of Pan-India films for south celebrities initiated by Bahubali and KGF. Kannada filmmakers are now steadily expanding their scopes. Like the majority of South Stars. Shivarajkumar will also go on board in a big way. Shivarajkumar agreed to collaborate with R Jai, the director of Buddivanta-2. This film is set in the 1970s and is told in a retro style. It's a tale about riots in Bengaluru during the time. The film is reported to be based on true events.

Minerva Mills, HMT, and Ramoji Film City are all used as sets for the film. The filmmaker stated that the film will feature high-octane fights. The film is produced by R Keshav. In February, they will reveal the film's title and first look. Shivarajkumar is currently filming 'Veda.'

The South's Bahubali and KGF were the first to break through cultural barriers. The stories are global, and Prabhas and Yash became national celebrities with a following that rivalled that of Bollywood superstars. These two films showed that South Indian films can also be enjoyable to North Indian audiences.

Rakshit Shetty continued the trend with his Avane Srimannarayana, which was released in all languages after KGF. Upendra and R Chandru are putting their Kabzaa to the trial. This film has the ability to broaden Upendra's market, as his previous films aroused attention across India.
