New Delhi: Dileep, the Malayalam actor, will be questioned for the second consecutive day and will appear before the crime branch in connection with the actress assault case.

Actor Dileep arrived at the Crime Branch office in New Delhi for the second consecutive day on Monday, as directed by the Kerala High Court, for interrogation in a case filed against him and five others for allegedly threatening officials investigating an actress's sexual assault in 2017. According to the police, Dileep must appear again tomorrow for interrogation.

The Kerala High Court has issued a restraining order against police arresting Dileep until January 27. Additionally, it directed the accused, including Dileep, to appear before the investigation officer from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on January 23, 24, and 25. In the FIR, Dileep is named as the first accused. The second and third accused are Anoop, Dileep's brother, and Suraj, Dileep's brother-in-law. The other defendants are Appu and Babu Chengamanad. One additional defendant has not yet been identified.
