The release date of actor Vicky Kaushal's next film 'Sardar Udham Singh' has come out after leaving his mark on the hearts of the audience with the film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike'. The film directed by Shoojit Sarkar will be released on October 2 next year on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The shooting of this film started in April this year. The shooting of the last schedule ended in Europe. In the film, Vicky will be seen portraying the bravery of the freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh on screen. Sardar Udham Singh shot Michael O Dwyer (former Punjab Lieutenant Governor of Punjab) in London in 1940 to justify the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

Shoojit announced on December 27 to end the shooting of the film. The director has shared a group photo of the entire team, sharing this information on his Instagram account. In the caption, he wrote, 'When this film was over, I was quite surprised. I never wanted the shooting of this film to stop. I wish I could keep him alive. I wish I could hug him. On this occasion, I want to thank my brave team. '
