In a recent interview given to a website, she said, "Actually the student who is doing the protection is because of the issue of the increasing fee. The rising expenses of higher education are issues. It is common from JNU to Lakare FTII. FTII students are on a hunger strike. AIIMS and IIT have proposed a higher cost by FTII. This is the biggest issue. Everyone knows that this has cut the budget for students. So students are protesting for fee hike. It is happening that the violence in JNU is like the rest of the protest. ''

With this, she said- "I think everybody in India, including me, only wants that everyone gets a good job. Their children study in a good school. Everyone wants this for their family. India is a country with Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu. Such action in such a country. Blood is pouring from the head of a college professor. It is a bit violent for everyone. There are some people here who are political but it is a bit cruel." Deepika Padukone reached the JNU campus on Tuesday and some people have come in support of Deepika's visit to JNU, some people are calling it a publicity stunt.
