D Srinivasa Rao Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infrastructure) Vijayawada Division along with the members of Passenger Service Committee (PSC) constituted by SCR inspected Vijayawada Railway Station on Wednesday. The main objective of the inspection is to get feedback of passengers regarding cleanliness, facilities, valuable suggestions and recommendation for improvement for execution and implementation of steps related to consumer's insights on passenger services to Railway Board for implementation.

The members of the Passenger Service Committee inspected the AC waiting room, Bapu waiting room, cloak room, RO water vending machine, fruit juice stall, pay and use toilet and general waiting room and ladies waiting room at Platform No. Water taps and catering stalls and RO water vending machines at Platform No. 2 and 3. During the inspection, the members interacted frequently with the passengers and got their feedback on the cleanliness, passenger amenities provided at the station.

Chairman of Passenger Service Committee Ramesh Chandra Ratan, Pranab Barua, Dugyala Pradeep Kumar, Babita Parmar, Gangadhar Talupula and Baby Chanki participated in the station inspection program and interacted with the passengers.
