New Delhi [India], Feb 4: Adelaide Strikers defeats Hobart Hurricanes in the final. Hobart felt short of 25 runs in the final encounter of BBL. D’Arch Short struggle against Adelaide Strikers bowling unit as he got the start but couldn't manage to pick up the win for Hurricane in the finals of BBL season 7. For Adelaide Strikers Jake Weatherald score magnificent century of 115 balls. With his innings Adelaide able to crossed 200 runs mark. Jake hits 8 sixes and 9 Boundaries after facing 70 balls. Adelaide crowned its first BBL trophy. It was Peter Siddle who pick three wickets for Adelaide Strikers in the final of BBL season 7.

The tournament with a duration of 47 long days which include action and drama spread over 13 venues in Australia, Adelaide Strikers and Hobart Hurricanes will lock horns in the final of the Big Bash League at the picturesque Adelaide Oval ground, on February 4 (Sunday). Fan are really excited about the final game. The Travis Head-led Strikers side and the Hurricanes franchise captained by George Bailey have never won the BBL. So this is a golden chance for both sides to create history by lifting the trophy.

In the batting department, D'Arcy Short, the aggressive left-handed opener, has been in splendid form, with four fifty-plus scores to his name and at a strike rate of over 147. However, the camp would be a tad concerned with the fact that he hasn't been able to make his presence felt in his last three games.
