Adesh Gupta lives in Rajendra Nagar in ward number 141 of MCD. AAP's Aarti Chawla has won from here. However, Adesh Gupta said that the BJP has contested the municipal elections on issues. Even after 15 years, our performance has been better. The people of Delhi have also shown faith in the BJP. It is not that full support has been given to AAP.

After the MCD election results came out, Adesh Gupta surrounded the AAP and said that Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain's area was cleared. When asked if the BJP has been wiped out from his area, Gupta said, "The BJP state president has no jurisdiction. The area belongs to MPs and MLAs. We are the president of the whole of Delhi and as the president of Delhi, we work all over Delhi.''
