Kolkata: Politics is at its peak in the West Bengal assembly elections. Meanwhile, the Congress party has turned down Mamata Banerjee for writing letters to non-BJP leaders. Veteran Congress leader and West Bengal State President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury have targeted Mamata Banerjee for not remembering Sonia Gandhi before the election.

Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has said, "Mamta Banerjee is scared of the joint front of Congress and Left." On which she has been oppressed for years, now that front seems to be growing, so out of fear she is giving this proposal. Our objective is clear, to defeat both BJP and TMC. "Adhir Ranjan questioned," Why did Mamata Banerjee not propose to Sonia Gandhi before the election. If she is speaking now, go to Delhi and meet Sonia Gandhi, apologize to her. After this, the leadership of the party will decide what to do.

Earlier on Wednesday, during the assembly elections, Mamata Banerjee wrote a letter to the leaders of several opposition parties including Sonia Gandhi. Mamta Banerjee had said in her letter that the time has come to fight 'unitedly and effectively' against the alleged attacks of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on democracy and the Constitution.
