New Delhi: Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has questioned the statement made by Army Chief MM Narwane on the border dispute with China. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Choudhury, has said on the statement of the Army Chief that what this means is that military talks with China have been very positive. This statement of Adhir Ranjan has come on the statement of Army Chief MM Narwane in which he said on the border dispute in Ladakh that talks are going on with China and we are able to resolve the dispute through dialogue.

On June 13, during the passing out parade of the IMA in Dehradun, Manoj Mukund Narwane said that the situation on the Indo-China border is under control and talks between the two forces have been positive. Referring to better talks at the military level, the Army Chief said that we are very sure that the negotiations going on will settle the LAC dispute. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary tweeted on the basis of this statement by the Chief of Army Staff and asked him what it means to be 'very fruitful' of military dialogue with China.

Let us tell you that since May, there is a situation of tension between the soldiers of India and China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in East Ladakh. Chinese soldiers had protested against India's road construction, due to which soldiers from both sides came face to face. Since then, the situation on the border has been tense. There have been many level talks from both sides. Efforts are being made to settle the dispute at the political and military level. But all the leaders of the party including the main opposition party Congress and Rahul Gandhi are constantly criticizing the Modi government's stand at the Center on China.
