Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan and directed by Om Raut, is receiving a positive reaction in advance bookings three days before its premiere. As of Tuesday at 12 p.m., the most ambitious Ramayana film, produced by Bhushan Kumar, had sold around 1.13 lakh tickets in national chains for its opening weekend in Hindi, with 62,000 sold on the first day. When non-national chain tickets are included, the total number of tickets is roughly 1.5 lakh. If the current rate is maintained, the opening for the Hindi version of Adipurush might be around or over Rs 20 crores.

PVR and Inox have sold roughly 90,000 Adipurush (Hindi) tickets over the weekend, while Cinepolis has sold approximately 23,000 tickets. Adipurush had sold 49,000 seats in PVR and Inox on the first day, and 13,000 tickets in Cinepolis. These are excellent results for the Om Raut-directed film, which will attempt to close its national chain total for the day in Hindi with sales of more than 1 lakh tickets.

Concerning the all-India advancements, Adipurush has sold approximately 1.7 lakh tickets in the three chains alone for the weekend, with Hyderabad, Prabhas' stronghold, yet to open. With three days to go, the advances are certain to rise even further, and it will all depend on how the picture is accepted by audiences when it is released on June 16th, 2023.

Adipurush is a costly film, with a budget of almost Rs 500 crores, and a successful theatrical run is critical. Non-theatrical income have ensured significant recoveries, but the theatrical business will ultimately determine whether Adipurush is a viable endeavor or not. Adipurush's theatrical competition will be limited to a couple of Hollywood and Bollywood blockbusters over the course of eight weeks. If the film is well received, the Indian film industry is in for a massive smash.
