Adipurush, the eagerly awaited movie starring Prabhas, will open in theaters this Friday, and fans can't wait. Fans of Darling from all over the country are eagerly anticipating seeing the epic on the big screen. The biggest IMAX release was revealed to be the 3D release of the movie. Adipurush won't, according to recent rumors, receive a 3D IMAX release in India.
This news has highly disappointed fans who have been waiting to watch the film in 3D on the big screen. It was said that since the superhero film, The Flash, is releasing on the same date, Warner Bros Pictures had blocked the IMAX screens so Adipurush will not be available. Many fans took to Twitter to appeal to director Om Raut and producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series to add an IMAX release for the film. However, looks like these are just rumors as indeed Adipurush will have a 3D IMAX release.

The film's financier, Karthik Gowda, of KGR Films, responded to the accusations and claimed they are untrue. Adipurush will be shown in 3D and IMAX in addition to being distributed in 2D and 3D. Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions of the movie will all be released in India. On Sunday, June 11, the nationwide advance bookings for Adipurush will go live in full force. While Telangana has already started accepting reservations, Andhra Pradesh has put a stop on accepting bookings due to ticket pricing. According to sources, Telangana has increased the cost of tickets, but Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is meeting today to discuss the increase in Andhra Pradesh.
Prabhas will play Raghava (Ram), Kriti Sanon will play Janaki (Sita), Devdatta Nage will play Hanuman, and Saif Ali Khan will play Lankesh (Ravana) in this popular mythological drama. Rajesh Nair, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, and Prasad Sutar are the financiers of the massively expensive pan-Indian movie. A massive sum of Rs. 500 crores is apparently being used to produce the masterpiece.
