Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi is convicted by a local court and sentenced to one year imprisonment for assaulting his neighbour. A senior police officer stated, "The local magistrate's court at suburban Andheri has convicted Pancholi for assaulting and criminal intimidation."

Aditya after conviction is released on bail of 12000 by The Magistrate Amitabh Panchbhai of a local court.

As per police, the case was registered when Aditya hit his neighbour named Pratik Pasrani and fractured his nose at their building in year 2005. Initially Police registered a non-cognizable case then the police registered a case of grievous hurt and criminal intimidation as the medical examination revealed that Pasrani's nose was broken.
