Mumbai: Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray has accused the Eknath Shinde government of Maharashtra of going out of hand with the Tata-Airbus project. He said Maharashtra is falling behind because of his (Shinde's) betrayal and unholy ambition. Aditya said that 'When we talk about the double engine government, our double engine did a very good job with the Center during the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) government.'

Aditya Thackeray also attacked Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis. He said that if he (Aditya Thackeray) had been in the post of Deputy CM in the present government, he would have resigned as Fadnavis's image is at stake. Demanding the resignation of Industries Minister Uday Samant, Aditya said that I would have opted for fresh elections. Aaditya Thackeray further said that Subhash Desai had brought an investment of Rs 6.6 lakh crore in Maharashtra during his tenure.

He alleged that an engine failed after this unconstitutional government came to power and the investment which was to come to Maharashtra is going to other states. Thackeray also claimed that the then-MVA government worked better in collaboration with the Center than the current government.
