Hyderabad: Pictures of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi holding actress Poonam Kaur's hand during Bharat Jodo Yatra in Telangana are becoming fiercely viral on social media. On Saturday (October 29), BJP leader Preeti Gandhi shared this picture and commented. Now Poonam Kaur has also given her answer. Poonam Kaur has told why Rahul held her hand. 

Poonam has said that when she was almost about to slip and fall, during that time Rahul Gandhi held her hand and handled her. Poonam wrote in her reply that, "This is absolutely an insult to you. Remember the Prime Minister spoke of women power.'' Congress leader Jairam Ramesh called Preeti Gandhi a "perverted and sick-minded woman". Congress spokesperson Supriya Srinet said that Rahul is actually following in the footsteps of his grandfather and uniting the country. Congressman Pawan Khera commented 'You need treatment, your mental state can prove to be harmful to your family and friends.'
