Kabul: A suicide bomber blew himself up in the town of Torghundi in Afghanistan's Herat Province. According to Herat police spokesman Abdul Ahad Walizada, after being identified by police, the man blew himself up. No one was injured by the blast.
National Directorate of Security (NDS) said the suicide bomber had wanted to plant a mine in Torghundi, but ended up detonating the explosives and killing himself before reaching his target.
Meanwhile, another blast is reported from Kabul. The roadside bomb detonates in the centre-western part of the Afghan capital of Kabul on Tuesday. According to the report, an explosion hit a market. No casualties is reported in the incident. The blast was caused by a roadside bomb detonating in the Ab Rasani area of Kabul's 5th District around 8 a.m. local time. No terror group has yet claimed the responsibility for the incident.
