Actor Ajay Devgn and Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep had a Twitter controversy over Hindi last week. Ajay Devgan had called Hindi the national language after Kiccha Sudeep's tweet and since then many celebrities have consistently given their opinions on the issue. Now actor Jaaved Jaffrey is also busy giving his reaction. According to the actor, he also felt like Ajay earlier that Hindi is the national language of India.

In an interview, Javed said, "Constitutionally there is no single language. I was looking at official Indian languages and the Constitution does not give the status of national language to any language. Earlier, I also thought that Hindi is the national language. But I saw that no language has been able to get the status of a national language so far. He has further said, "Look, it is a matter of unity in diversity. That was the beauty of this country and that's it. There are many religions, but the nation is not religion, there is no national language.''

According to the news, Ajay Devgan and Kiccha Sudeep have got to see a tremendous Twitter war over the national language. Apart from film stars, veterans of political parties are also seen jumping in this controversy. Someone was supporting Ajay Devgan, someone was engaged in the song of Kiccha Sudeep. Before Jaaved Jaffrey, stars like Kangana Ranaut, Sonu Sood, and Manoj Bajpayee have also given their opinion on this.

Talking about the work front, Javed is very famous for his comedy movies. He is known for movies like Dhamaal, Salaam Namaste, and Land of the Little People. In 2021, two of his movies were released. He was also seen in actor Akshay Kumar's movie Suryavanshi. Apart from this, he has also appeared in Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor. Javed will soon be seen acting in the film Moha and Magician as well.
