Chennai: MK Stalin has taken over as chief minister in Tamil Nadu. His party DMK has won 133 seats in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections. MK Stalin was sworn in as CM on May 7. Stalin's office also has two special things. The first is fountain pen, which his father Karunanidhi used to use. And the second is Anna Durai's picture, who has been the founder of DMK.
After taking oath, Stalin arrived at his father M Karunanidhi's residence in Gopalapuram. Here he met his mother and sister. He then paid homage to his father. Stalin's father Karunanidhi passed away three years ago on May 7, 2018. From here Stalin also visited the memorial of Karunanidhi and Anna Durai, who founded the DMK, and paid homage.
After that Stalin reached the secretariat. As soon as he came here, he signed 5 government orders. He signed it with the same fountain pen that his father Karunanidhi used. Karunanidhi's close friends say that he loved fountain pen 'Reality 69' and always bought it from a shop on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Road. It is reported that Karunanidhi had been using the pen of the same brand for decades.
