In the viral video, it is clearly seen that she is deliberately grabbing the police officer's collar and abusing him, but now after the controversy has escalated, Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury has given a clear turn and gave an absurd clean chit. Renuka has said that I did not hold the collar of the policeman, but my leg started slipping during the demonstration, so I caught the policeman to handle myself. While it is clearly seen in the video that a woman policeman is also removing the collar of the police officer from Renuka, but she is not ready to leave. A case has been registered against Congress leader and former MP Renuka Chowdhury for grabbing the collar of a policeman during a protest in support of Rahul in Hyderabad.
Renuka Chowdhury said, "The policemen were pushing me. Because I have a problem in my leg, due to which I was losing my balance. During this time I fell on the policeman standing nearby. Though I will apologise to him, I also hope that he will apologise to me for the way the police misbehaved with me. After all, why were there so many policemen around us?' At the same time, users on social media have started reacting to Renuka Chowdhury's statement, M. Rai wrote, 'What to say to these leaders?' Anything can say, they shouldn't have the advantage of being a woman either. 'Â
