Indore: In the implementation of the ambitious and first-of-its-kind Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Yojana of the state government, Indore district is going to be made the number one district in the state. To make Indore district number one, a resolution has been taken in the meeting of public representatives and officials held here today. The meeting was completed under the chairmanship of Tourism and Culture Minister Sushri Usha Thakur and Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silavat. It was decided in the meeting that the target for rural areas in Indore district would be completed by April 15.

Addressing the meeting, Tourism and Culture Minister Sushri Usha Thakur has said that everyone together should make Indore the top city in the state in the implementation of the CM Ladli Bahna Yojana. It should be ensured that no woman is troubled. He said that a clear list of eligibility and ineligibility should be displayed at every panchayat centre. In the meeting, the programme officer of the Women and Child Development Department, Mr. Ramnivas Budhauliya, also gave detailed information regarding the scheme. It was informed in the meeting that 424 centres have been set up for filling out applications in rural areas of Indore district.
