Ahmedabad: After registering a landslide victory in the Punjab Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has now started preparations for the Gujarat Assembly elections. The magic of the 'AAP' election symbol broom has been seen in Punjab, the party is expecting the same in the Gujarat elections. This is the reason why AAP is taking new and big decisions to expand itself. 

Actually, for the Gujarat elections, AAP has given a big responsibility to Raghav Chadha. The party has appointed Chadha, its Rajya Sabha member, as co-incharge of Gujarat. Chadha has played an important role for the party in the Punjab Assembly elections. In view of this, it is also being expected from him in Gujarat too. Raghav Chadha has been given this big responsibility in the Gujarat elections after Delhi and Punjab. Given the party's growing popularity in Gujarat, the AAP has fielded its most trusted lieutenant Chadha. 

Chadha played an important role in the Punjab elections. With his support, the AAP could win by defeating an old party like Congress. In Punjab, the AAP won 92 of the 117 seats and secured a thumping majority of 79 per cent. The Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP is hoping for a landslide victory in Gujarat. In the last assembly elections, the party could not win a single seat in Gujarat.
