Kolkata: The mysterious death of a ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader in the Pandaveshwar area of West Bengal's Andal has caused a stir. Today i.e. on Sunday (September 18) morning, the hanging body of Pandaveshwar Panchayat Samiti Nadia Dhibar has been recovered from her house. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and started an investigation.

Nadia's house is located in Chora village under Pandaveshwar Vidhan Sabha of Andal police station. Nadia's hanging body was recovered from her house this morning. Nadia was a lawyer by profession. Nadia's family and neighbours are in panic due to such an incident. Kishore Chakraborty, a neighbour of Nadia, has told 'Every day, Nadia used to open her office and sit for her advocacy work, but on Sunday her body was found hanging from the noose. We are shocked to hear this.'

Pandaveshwar MLA Narendranath Chakraborty also reached the spot. He said 'It is a very sad incident., a qualified leader of TMC has passed away. He was a good leader. He was a skilled soldier of Trinamool.' However, the police have started investigating the reasons behind the incident. Let us tell you that the deceased had been associated with politics for a long time. According to family sources, like other days, on Saturday night too, Nadia went to sleep in her room after eating and drinking. He got up in the morning and checked some necessary documents in his office. At around 7.30 pm, the maid of the house went to the basement to clean the house and saw Nadia hanging from the noose. The family and neighbours ran after the maid's cry. The information was given to the Banbahal outpost police.
