We already know that Moni Roy is soon going to see in big screen opposite Akshay Kumar in 'Gold' Now, as a fresh report aired that Monni Roy got yet another Hindi film. The actress is now reportedly on-board for Ayan Mukerji's upcoming venture 'Brahmastra'. The movie already has a hit film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. If believed to the reports, the shooting of the film will start early next year. Mouni Roy's first film 'Gold' is scheduled to release in the next year.
The movie is a sports drama which is based on the life of hockey player Balbir Singh, who was a part of the team that won the first Olympic medal for India in 1948. Mouni is one of the popular actresses on television. She was last seen in the show 'Naagin 2' which was one of the highest rated shows. The actress got fame by the playing Krishnatulsi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Sati in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, Shivaya Ritik Singh and Shivangi Rocky Pratap Singh in Naagin.
