Washington: A 20-year-old Indian-origin student has been murdered in his hostel in the US state of Indiana, police said. His Korean roommate has been detained in connection with the case. Varun Manish Chheda of Indiana was found dead at McCutcheon Hall on the western side of the campus, police said. He was studying at Purdue University. Media reports quoted the school's police chief as saying that another university student was arrested on Wednesday on charges of murder.
