Moradabad : A very serious incident has come to light in a private hospital in Moradabad, where a doctor raped a nurse posted on night duty. The victim nurse alleges that the ward boy and a female nurse forcibly sent her to the doctor's room and then closed the door from outside. After this incident, the accused threatened the nurse that if she told anything to anyone, she would be killed. This incident took place under Thakurdwara police station area. The victim's family lodged a complaint with the police against Doctor Shahnawaz, Nurse Mehnaz, and Ward Boy Junaid, after which the police arrested all three accused. The victim nurse's family told that their daughter was working as a nurse in this private hospital for the last 10 months. On the evening of August 17, she went on night duty, where this incident happened during the night.

During duty, another nurse told the victim that Dr. Shahnawaz was calling her. When the victim refused to go, at around 12:30 in the night, the ward boy Junaid came and said that she had to go to the doctor. He forcefully took the victim to the doctor's room and locked the door from outside.
The victim screamed for help
and called another nurse, but no one came to her aid. After this, Dr. Shahnawaz raped the victim. The doctor told the nurse that he would give her as much money as she wanted, but she should not tell anyone about this incident. He also threatened to kill her if she told anyone anything.
Situation after the incident
According to the victim's family, during this incident, the accused ward boy took the nurse's mobile off the charging and kept it with himself so that she could not contact anyone. When the nurse reached home in the morning, she told her family about this painful incident. After this, the family immediately reached Thakurdwara police station and lodged a complaint.
Preparations to seal the hospital
CMO Moradabad Dr Kuldeep Singh said that after this incident, the department's team has inspected the hospital and the process of cancelling the hospital's license and sealing it has been started. The police have arrested the three accused in the case, and the process of sealing the hospital is also underway.

Rural SP Sandeep Kumar Meena said that a complaint has been received from the victim's family in Thakurdwara police station area, in which it is stated that their daughter was raped by the doctor. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the police took immediate action and arrested the three accused and started the process of sealing the hospital. This incident has raised questions on the security of the hospital and its staff. Strict action is being taken by the police and administration in this case so that such incidents do not happen in future and the victim can get justice.
