Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar has said that attaching the assets of senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut is unfair to him. Sharad Pawar met with PM Narendra Modi in Delhi on Wednesday. After the meeting, Sharad Pawar said these things during a press conference. Sharad Pawar said that I have talked to PM Modi in the matter related to Shiv Sena's Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut.

Pawar said that Sanjay Raut is a Rajya Sabha MP. He said that I have said that the way Sanjay Raut's property has been attached is injustice. He is not only a member of Rajya Sabha but also a journalist. Pawar said that I told PM Modi that what was the need for action against Sanjay Raut? Simply because sometimes he writes and criticizes? Sharad Pawar said that Mamata Banerjee has written to me and said that we should contact non-BJP leaders and prepare a draft of future course of action. I will start reaching out to the leaders soon.

Let us tell you that in the Chawl land scam of one thousand crore rupees on Tuesday, the ED attached property worth crores related to Praveen Raut, wife of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. The total assets are being said to be Rs 11 crore. In this, the property related to Praveen Raut in Palghar is about 9 crores. While the flat in Dadar and plot in Alibaug worth 2 crores is alleged to be related to Sanjay Raut's wife.
