Departments will be allotted today, nine days after the BJP government's cabinet expansion in MP. State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had informed this on Saturday. The CM said during this time, 'Allotment of departments is my duty. Today I am in Gwalior and will allot tomorrow.' He reached the Gwalior Smart City Command Center to analyze the preparations to deal with Covid-19.

On July 2, 28 ministers who joined the BJP government in the state were administered the oath of office and secrecy at Bhopal's Raj Bhavan by Governor Anandiben Patel. This was the second cabinet expansion of the BJP government. After coming back to power in the state on March 23, the Shivraj government first expanded the cabinet in April. Only five ministers joined the cabinet.

Even after the expansion of the cabinet, the reason for the delay in the division of the departments, the demand for good departments has increased for Jyotiraditya Scindia's pro-legislators. The cabinet consists of at least 1 dozen Scindia MLAs close to 28. According to the information, Scindia wants to give his supporters ministers some separate departments along with the allocated portfolios in the Kamal Nath government. CM wants to create a synergy between the new and senior ministers on the departments because of the big departments. Due to this, the department was unable to form a consensus on the allocation and it took more than a week to churn from Bhopal to Delhi.
