Canada: Shots were fired in a parkade on the eastern edge of Calgary's downtown Tuesday afternoon, according to police, who say no one was hurt. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the East Village Superstore parking lot at 428 6th Ave S.E. on Tuesday around 1 p.m.
Throughout the afternoon, the scene was off-limits to the general public while police investigated.
Police taped off a sizable area around a black GMC truck that was parked in one stall on the parkade's first floor. The truck had numerous bullet holes, including ones through its front passenger window and rear fender.
A dozen or so police officers were searching the parking lot for evidence at about 1:30.
